How we make money

Here’s the deal in one line: when you click a link to an operator and go on to register, some of those operators pay Isles Game Review a commission. That’s the only way the site earns. You never pay anything, and the price or offer you get is exactly the same as going to the casino direct.

Which links pay us

The “Visit” buttons on the operator cards are affiliate links. The links to regulators and safer-gambling charities — the Gambling Commission, GAMSTOP, GamCare and GambleAware — are not. We earn nothing from those and never would; they’re there because they’re useful.

What the money does not buy

Commission does not buy a higher ranking, a better star rating, or kinder wording. I score the sites first, against the criteria set out on the homepage, and the commercial side is settled separately. An operator that pays well but pays out slowly still gets marked down for it — that’s the whole reason a site like this is worth reading instead of the casinos’ own adverts.

Where you go when you click

Our outbound links point straight at the operator’s official UK site. We don’t bury them under fake click trackers or redirect chains, and the destination is transparent. The site owner may attach standard affiliate tracking separately, but we won’t dress a link up as something it’s not.

Honesty and the rules

UK advertising rules expect affiliate relationships to be clear, and I agree with that. This page, the note in the footer, and the line at the top of every screen all say the same thing: Isles Game Review is independent and affiliate-funded. If any of it is ever unclear, flag it on the contact page.
