Why this site exists
I’m a low-stakes player, not an industry insider. Isles Game Review started because I was tired of “best casino” pages that were really just adverts wearing a press badge — fifty logos, no opinions, and not one mention of how long a withdrawal actually takes. So I built the page I wanted to read.
Everything here is judged from a normal player’s seat: small deposits, a phone instead of a desktop, and the patience of someone who’d like their winnings back this week. I open accounts, fund them with my own money, request payouts, and message support with real questions. The notes you read are what happened, not what a brand’s media kit claims.
What we are — and aren’t
Isles Game Review is an independent comparison site. We are not a casino, a bookmaker, or part of the Gambling Commission, and we’re not owned by any brand on the list. We don’t take bets, hold money, open accounts or pay winnings. Every one of those things happens on the operator’s own UKGC-licensed site, under their terms, and your account is between you and them.
How we’re funded
The site is affiliate-funded. When you follow a link and sign up, some operators pay us a commission, and that’s what keeps the lights on. It also means I never charge you and never sell your details. What it doesn’t do is decide the order — scoring happens first, and a fatter commission has never moved a casino up the page. The longer version is on the affiliate disclosure page.
Staying independent
Independence is easy to claim and easy to check. If an operator’s payouts get slow or its support goes quiet, it drops down or comes off — I’ve removed sites that paid perfectly well in commission for exactly that reason. If you think something here is out of date or wrong, tell me on the contact page and I’ll look again.
